| The native rockery

Both Mediterranean and tropical climates hold extremely diverse and original flora. In the “rockery of native plants”, formed by limestone, we find a complete sample of plants that are native to the western Mediterranean, grouped according to their families, some of which are greatly endangered at present. In the centre of the rockery there is a pool of water giving rise to the two streams running around it. There are plants from Alicante, Castellon, Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Sardinia, Sicily, Corsica and northern Africa, among others.
