JARDÍ BOTÀNIC: WORKING FOR PLANT DIVERSITY

2010 has been declared the International Year of Biodiversity in a global effort to highlight one of the main problems humanity faces nowadays, the constant loss of biological diversity.

In this way, the Jardí Botànic de la Universitat de València has engaged an information campaign to contribute to the understanding of the importance of conservation issues. This campaign focuses on raising the awareness of the public and remarks the roll of scientific institutions in halting the current rate of biodiversity loss in the planet.
